01Garden-side access for extensions
If the scaffold is needed behind a Spencers Wood property, show the path from the road to the garden and the proposed work area. Include gates, steps and any change of surface. Clarify third-party access requirements before scheduling, especially if components cannot be carried through land you control.
02Agree the whole renovation sequence
An extension can involve brickwork, roofing, windows and external finishes at different stages. Ask the builder to explain the access required across that sequence. Include planned changes to building dimensions and any expected scaffold alterations, so the quotation is based on the project rather than one stage alone.
03Plan removal before the garden is finished
Landscaping or new paving may happen before the scaffold is ready to come down. Tell the provider about those works and preserve an agreed dismantling route. Review the programme if the access path is about to change, rather than discovering at the end that removal now affects newly completed work.
